Terms of use
Sipfold is in testing. These terms will be reviewed before public launch.
These terms are an agreement between you and Merchard, LLC, which operates Sipfold. By signing in, you agree to them.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse
Sipfold is for honest notes about drinks. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don't post:
- Hateful, harassing, threatening, sexual, or violent content, or slurs.
- Photos that aren't of your drink or your visit, or that show other people's personal information.
- Fake logs, spam, or logs meant to manipulate a café's score, such as logs for places you didn't visit.
We review reports within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these rules, and we suspend or remove accounts that post it.
Your content
You own the photos and words you post. You give Merchard, LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and share them in Sipfold, including on café pages, for as long as they're on Sipfold, and as described in the privacy policy after you delete your account. Only post photos you took or have the right to share.
Reporting and blocking
You can report any log and block any member from the menu next to their log. Blocking hides their logs and photos from you.
Scores
Café and drink scores are computed from members' logs. They are opinions of members, not ours, and we don't let cafés pay to change them.
Your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
No warranty
Sipfold is provided "as is". Café information comes from open data and members and may be out of date. To the extent the law allows, Merchard, LLC is not liable for indirect or incidental damages from using Sipfold.
